This requirement becomes the first problem of this double fit project, because if the material is used too soft, though it is comfortable to wear, the lens will soon fall off. If the material is too hard, it is not easy to fall off, but the comfort will be reduced. In order to solve this problem, the team thought about the way to combine the two materials: use hard materials in contact with the lens, contact with the face, and use soft materials.
The combination of soft material and hard material can use the all-purpose glue, but it is not suitable because it is very close to the eyes of the human body. Even if it is used, the production efficiency will be greatly reduced and the cost will be increased. How to combine the two? What is the most suitable shape?
After many attempts, the development team finally found the most suitable method.
