New life of racing goggles! In order to compete against the clock for swimming, we have developed a super low resistance swimming glasses blade!

In 2004, yohei kato (first from the right), who was the chief swimmer of tsukuba university swimming team, made outstanding achievements in the butterfly individual relay. As Japan's 2003 World Cup appearances, in a 200 meters butterfly game winner.

Constantly strive to reduce resistance

The basic idea of Blade

Tabata company has developed many swimming glasses so far, but we always have the idea of developing better products for more swimmers and competitors, so we developed them with the demand of "reducing water resistance".

First, we focus on the flow around the swimming glasses (Figure 1). In conventional products, the water in front of the lens will roll up the whirlpool, so "minimize the whirlpool" is a key to reduce the water resistance. Therefore, after many attempts, we make the vortex smaller and successfully reduce the resistance of water through the front lens with blade shape.

In fact, the projected area of the mirror is also reduced by this innovative design (Figure 2). While maintaining the swimming vision, we reduce the protruding part of the face cushion as much as possible, thereby reducing the resistance of the goggles themselves.

"Blade F ZERO" V128

"Blade f zero" is the most level product of view racing goggles, and the lens of "blade F" is redesigned to provide a wider field of vision and low resistance design. The V-shaped bridge is designed in the center of the glasses, which aims to achieve the final shape of stability and keep the mirror of the glasses close to the face.

As the highest level racing product, "blade f zero" is also equipped with "swipe anti-fog" technology with anti fog effect 10 times (compared with the old product). There are seven colors to choose from.
